e-GEOS, GAF and TELESPAZIO VEGA UK PARTICIPATING IN DGI 2017
Massimo Comparini e-GEOS CEO and Telespazio Head of Geoinformation, will present “braINT – Telespazio Geoinformation platform for Defense and Intelligence: Maritime Domain Success Stories”, in the specific session on Tuesday 24th of January, 2017 at 3.50 pm the panel entitled “Maritime Surveillance and Operations”.
e-GEOS, GAF and TELESPAZIO VEGA UK will be presenting services and applications for Image Intelligence derived particularly from the Italian radar constellation COSMO-SkyMed together with data fused from other sources (UAS, AIS, social media, etc) but and other satellite SAR and optical imaging mi-missions which can be integrated into our service platforms;
braINT platform is a specific and proprietary satellite data management tool that support IMINT operators during the whole phases of the activity from satellite data collection to image preparation, from data-fusion and interpretation to briefing/map generation and dispatching.
braINT implements several operational workflows for Intelligence report generation, for:
- Key site analysis
- Damage assessment
- Maritime Intelligence
These operational procedures integrate all the building blocks required for the IMINT analysis and they can be easily tailored and expanded, according to the customer needs and requirements.
At the stand will be held presentations on the full range of Digital Surface Models (DSM) at resolutions from 0.3 m to 5 m, based on a unique multi-source satellite data approach, which makes the products more cost-efficient and not reliant on single data sources. GAF has developed a specialized highly automated multi-source capable production line that has already been used for generating a multitude of DSMs for very large areas. The personal live presentation will be based on the GAFmap® 3D Viewer and an Oculus Rift headset. Fully textured digital surface models derived from WorldView and Pléiades imagery will be shown.
