e-GEOS Ice Season Research & Demonstration Program

With the growth in the value of Satellite Radar for ice applications, e-GEOS has decided to bring to the ice community the unique capabilities of the COSMO-SkyMed Constellation — e.g. up to 16 acquisitions per day at 70° latitude, 24/7 all-weather acqusitions, rapid processing and delivery — aimed at supporting the development of improved ice services within the Oil & Gas, Security, Environmental and Maritime Transportation communities.

• Acquistion Period: until April 15, 2012 

• Product: ScanSAR Wide or ScanSAR Huge, Himage, PingPong 

• Tasking Level: Standard Tasking 

• Delivery Level: Standard 

• Area: World-Wide 

• Minimum Order: 12 images over the same AOI 

• Prices
  PingPong: 575 Euro/Scene
  ScanSAR Wide or ScanSAR Huge: 825 Euro/Scene 
  Himage: 1,080 Euro/Scene
  

The candidate Organization will have to submit a short technical description of the project for technical feasibility including area of interest, duration and product selection by using the e-GEOS standard COSMO order forms and specifying " Ice Charting Research and Demonstration Program" in order to request the ad-hoc offer conditions.

These prices cannot be applied to existing projects or offers.

e-GEOS Standard Terms and Conditions will apply .

The  results of the Projects will be published on the e-GEOS web site and used for additional e-GEOS marketing activities. The best project will be presented at the e-GEOS International Conference to be held in Rome 23 – 24 May, 2012
