Digital Elevation Models (DEM) offer can be tuned according to end user needs:

In terms of Digital Elevation Models (DEM), the offer can be tuned according to end user needs, with focus on requested resolution and accuracy. Products are mainly derived from the processing of satellite data, both radar and optical from several missions, but also the usage of aerial data di foreseen in case of higher requested accuracy and detail. Solutions are provided for different level of detail starting from low to very high.
DEMs are generated starting from radar COSMO-SkyMed images, on a grid of 10x10 meters, based on radargrammetric processing with proprietary workflows. With this DEM is possible to map large area, and is a powerful solution for all the area subject to continuous cloud coverage for which other starting data are not applicable.
DEM, the offer is based on the processing of high resolution optical images, with generation of DEM of 5x5 m posting, and with 1:25.000 reference scale.
Digital Elevation Models are extracted for the processing of very high resolution satellite data, by using two or more images, a posting ranging from 10 to 2 meters, and 1:10.000 – 1:25.000 reference scale.
For higher detail, the processing is based on the usage of aerial data, allowing a more detailed posting and higher accuracy.
For all the solutions, e-GEOS takes care of the whole production chain starting from image collection, with several possible customization of the final product according to customer needs. In particular for proper satellite choice, e-GEOS can leverage on its experience of satellite data provider for the selection of best available data as well as for their integration with new acquisitions. All processing chain have high degree of customization, in order to provide a product always targeting the best quality.
