THE BLUE PLANET: EARTH & WATER
Great things are done when Earth and Water meet.
Rivers, lakes, seas which meet the land source of life, settlements and development. The meeting between watercourses and lands preserves the rare biodiversity of our planet and represented the beginning of many of the civilizations that inhabited it.
These places are the symbol of fertility, places of beauty and exchanges between populations, opportunities for development and growth. Places of life, but also of vulnerability. About our Blue Planet, Nelson Mandela said: “Access to water is a common goal. It is central in the social economic and political affairs of the country. Continent and the world. It should be a lead sector of cooperation for world development. No water, no future”.
